About the Artist Susan has drawn and painted all her life. Her formal study began in childhood with classes in watercolor painting at the Toledo Museum of Art in Ohio. During her teenage years, she studied oil painting one-on-one with landscape artist Damian Mroz of Perrysburg, Ohio. After college she moved to Chicago, where she continued refining her work in oils and acrylics at the School of the Art Institute. Now she lives and paints in Savannah, Georgia, where she has returned to water media, bringing her artistic career full circle.
